Werner's Community Garden

I’m so glad to have been able to be part of Werner’s Garden. It’s given meaning and a destination to get more walking in. I have worked beside awfully nice people from my own neighborhood. We have been able to raise food for others who have food insecurity. Having the coordinator we do has really kept us building community and paying it forward.
I’ve learned SO much about gardening and using our actions to actually take positive Earth friendly activity. Plus I’ve been challenged to grow foods new to me – and learn more about groundhogs than I thought there was to  know.
It’s been a place of peace and quiet, grounding and connecting me with roots that go deep into my ancestry and far as I share pictures with my friends far away who don’t know that cities have such places as this wonderful gardening community.
